Introduction to OpenSciEd Instructional Frameworks CourseAudience: Middle School/ High School Science Educators
This course is beneficial for all science educators in developing an understanding of instructional routines that support the New Vision for Science Education. Please note, OpenSciEd curricular materials will be the content utilized as we model best practices in science.
The first face-to-face day will focus on the instructional routines of OpenSciEd (Driving Question Boards, Anchoring Phenomenon Routine, Consensus Models, etc). Several additional Zoom sessions will be offered in which teachers can learn, network, problem-solve, and have deeper conversations that connect to a variety of instructional routines.
