PLAEA currently has 14 school districts teaching Teen Mental Health First Aid to their high school students. Is your district? Teen MHFA is a curriculum that teaches teens in grades 10-12 how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in their friends and peers. Through the PL-MHAT grant, teenMHFA is free to all PLAEA schools for the life of the grant (2026).
