Bring your school team to the Pocahontas AEA office to join our Restorative Practices trainers in learning the key concepts of restorative practices, an approach that proactively builds positive school communities while dramatically reducing discipline referrals, suspension and expulsions. Over the course of the two day class we will reflect on current practices, discuss the importance of relationships, learn about and discuss the Restorative Practices Continuum and engage in community building through circles (a key practice in Restorative Practices).
Training dates: February 27 and March 4, 2024 (snow make up date - March 7, 2024).
Time: 9:00-3:30 each day.
