Prairie Lakes AEA Relocates Storm Lake Office

STORM LAKE, IA — The Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency (AEA) has relocated its Storm Lake office to a new and improved facility.

The new address is 2004 Expansion Boulevard, formerly the location of Mangold Environmental Testing, Inc.

The remodeled space, crafted by Weise Plumbing of Storm Lake, provides a fresh setting for PLAEA staff and visitors. The move is part of PLAEA's commitment to continually enhance its services and create an even more conducive workplace for its dedicated team.

“We are excited about our new office space and the opportunities it brings for better serving the community,” said Jennifer Sammons, Regional Administrator for PLAEA. “The new location is not just a physical change—it represents our ongoing dedication to providing top-notch educational support and services for the schools, educators, students, and families we serve.”

The new Storm Lake office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a new hearing booth that is already in use. The space is designed to be family friendly.

“We are proud to be an integral part of the Storm Lake community and look forward to continuing our work with area school districts and families,” Sammons said. "Our diverse team is here to provide support and services to children and students aged birth to 21, contributing to the growth and success of every individual we serve.”

The Storm Lake office houses 42 dedicated staff members, including Early Childhood Special Education Consultants, Speech and Language Pathologists, Communication Paraprofessionals, Special Education Consultants, Behavior Consultants, Behavior Technicians, Occupational Therapists, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, Physical Therapists, Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Audiometrists, Audiologists, School Improvement Facilitators, and administrative personnel.
