ASD & Other Developmental Disorders Class
Join us as we dig deeply into Autism Spectrum Disorder and Other Developmental Disorders! Through this 2-day class, participants will learn the characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorders, including how these characteristics relate to other Developmental Disorders. Participants will identify ways in which students with ASD may learn differently than other students and determine classroom supports that are in alignment with individual student need. Participants will explore visual supports, appropriate communication strategies, & appropriate behavior strategies for learners with Developmental Disorders.

Advanced Autism Class
The need for educators to work with persons who have disabilities has been growing in recent years. Increasing numbers of persons with a range of disabilities are living in small residential settings in our communities, attending classes in neighborhood schools, holding jobs in local businesses and participating in community recreation and social activities. There is a great need for educators to provide the services and supports these individuals need. Join us for this 1-day class to learn Pivotal Response Training (PRT) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT).
