Substitution Authorization: Fostering Student Learning as a Substitute

Prairie Lakes AEA is offering a minimum 15-hour course that would allow an individual to be a substitute teacher. Full participation in all instructional sessions and completion of asynchronous hours (outside of the face-to-face sessions) of collaborative learning and assignments are required for this course. 100% participation, attendance and internet access is required.

Dates/Times: Face-to-face sessions on June 3-4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with half an hour for lunch. Full participation in all instructional sessions and completion of a minimum of 5 asynchronous hours of collaborative learning and assignments are required for this course. This class will be held at the PLAEA office in Fort Dodge.
