Northwest AEA is offering Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) training this fall.
Training Goals:
- Understand academic language acquisition and how to support the acquisition process
- Become familiar with the 8 components of the SIOP model
- Participate in engagement strategies to increase language usage in the classroom setting.
Who should attend:
EL Teachers, General Education Teachers, Instructional Coaches and/or Other Teacher Leaders, Interventionists, and Administrators
